Warranty And Repair Policy

This Warranty and Repair Policy applies to physical goods purchased from Cook N Serve.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use and maintenance.

 

During Warranty Period

During the warranty period, Cook N Serve will repair at no charge, the products or spare parts that proves defective in workmanship under normal use and maintenance. You will need to bring the machine down to our repair site, and self-collect the machine after repair. Alternatively, we will be happy to collect the machine from you with an additional charge of $40. This $40 transport cost will include sending the machine back to you after the repair.

The warranty period for every product is different. Kindly refer to your invoice for the warranty period valid for your product. Warranty starts from the date of purchase. If you are unsure of the warranty period of your product, do drop us an email at customerservice@cooknserve.sg for us to check for you.

 

After Warranty Period

Cook N Serve provides after sales service repair for machines after warranty period with additional charges for transportation of machine to and fro our repair site, spare parts and labour. If spare parts are not available in Singapore, courier fee to ship in the spare parts will be borne by you. A compulsory deposit of $80 SGD must be paid upfront before we collect the machine from you. The deposit will be used to offset the transport cost, spare parts cost and labour cost. The transportation charge of $40 will be waived off if you choose to bring the machine down to our repair site.

 

Machines With No Warranty

For machines that do not come with any warranty, after sales service repair is available with additional charges for transportation of machine to and fro our repair site, spare parts and labour. If spare parts are not available in Singapore, courier fee to ship in the spare parts will be borne by you. A compulsory deposit of $80 SGD must be paid upfront before we collect the machine from you. The deposit will be used to offset the transport cost, spare parts cost and labour cost. The transportation charge of $40 will be waived off if you choose to bring the machine down to our repair site.

 

What The Warranty Does Not Cover

The following actions and damages will be excluded from warranty:

  • Deterioration due to wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by acts of nature, such as fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, etc.
  • Damage caused by impact with other objects, dropping, falls, spilled liquid, etc.
  • Damage caused by improper handling and negligence.
  • Damage caused by accident.
  • Damage caused by other mishandling, misuse, or misapplication.

 

Standard Costs for Local Customers

  • Transportation cost to and fro repair site: standard rate of $40
  • Labour cost: standard rate of $60
  • Cost of spare parts: varies
  • Freight charge for spare parts: varies

 

For Overseas Customer During Warranty Period

For our overseas customers, Cook N Serve will repair at no charge, the products or spare parts that proves defective in workmanship under normal use and maintenance. Courier fee to send the machine to and fro our repair site in Singapore will be borne by you.

 

For Overseas Customer After Warranty Period Or Machines With No Warranty

Cook N Serve provides after sales service repair for machines after its warranty period, or machines that do not come with any warranty period, with additional charges for transportation of machine to and fro our repair site, spare parts and labour. If spare parts are not available in Singapore, courier fee to ship in the spare parts will be borne by you. A compulsory deposit of $200 SGD must be paid upfront before we arrange to collect the machine from you. The deposit will be used to offset the transport cost, spare parts cost and labour cost.

 

Domestic Warranty

Domestic brands are covered by agent warranty. Kindly refer to the warranty card in the packaging that comes with your machine for the service centre contact as well as the terms and condition by individual brands.

 

Warranty Is Not Transferable

Warranty only covers the original owner and is strictly non-transferable. All remaining warranty will be void once ownership of machine is transferred to another person.
